Students will choose a project from a list of possible projects provided by each teacher.
They will work with their advisors to select a suitable project and then seek approval
from the content area teacher. Students can select a project from any teacher and any content

Timeline of events leading up to Project Showcase:
- Nov. 4 - 8 Students choose their project and get it approved by content area teacher
- Nov. 8 Project Showcase Checkpoint #1- Content teachers check progress for presentation eligibility
- Nov. 22 Project Showcase Checkpoint #2 - Content teachers check progress for presentation eligibility
Project should be completed and approved by content area teacher - Dec. 3 Showcase Prep Day (Required Student Attendance and Participation)
- Dec. 6 Final Checkpoint - Projects and curation assignment MUST be done on this day
- Dec. 9 Project Showcase Advisory Prep Day
Day of Project Showcase Schedule (12/12/2019):
- 8am - Advisory
- 9am - 11:30am - Preparation, Problem Solving, and Practice
- *11:30am - Early release for all students
- Please arrange transportation for your student to be picked up by this time on 12/12/2019.
- 5pm - Students, families, and community members arrive
- Opening Ceremony for Project Showcase
- Light refreshments will be provided
- Tickets are on sale for the FlexTech BBQ Community Dinner with silent auction held on 12/18/2019
- 5:30pm - Round 1 of presentations
- 6:15pm - Round 2 of presentations
