Academics

At FlexTech, we pride ourselves on offering a variety of learning experiences for students, all of which lead to meeting the standards of the Michigan Merit Curriculum. We are committed to breaking down the walls that make school seem like a place that students don’t belong or can’t succeed. We transform it into a place where students are always engaged and can find academic, personal and social success in high school and beyond.
FlexTech students learn and meet the requirements of the Michigan Merit Curriculum through a variety of experiences, including:

Project-Based Learning Community-Based Experiences Self-paced online classes Classroom instruction combined with online work

PROJECT-BASED LEARNING

At FlexTech High School students engage in project based learning to investigate real world questions and develop solutions. Through these investigations students integrate knowledge and skills from a variety of disciplines, they consult with community experts, and they present their solutions to authentic audiences.

COLLEGE RESOURCES

Much like the curriculum at FlexTech, the college selection process is unique to each individual student. We work to help our students determine their best path beyond high school and how to successfully navigate the process of continuing their education. Students and their families should use this site to help them successfully navigate this process.
